CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This basic-level American Red Cross course provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care, first aid, and CPR. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.

The Pediatric FA/CPR course will prepare you to recognize and care for various first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving children, and infants. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for Babysitter's Training, which does not expire, and Pediatric First Aid/CPR valid for 2 years
