MY Lifeguard Training Group, LLC follows the guidance and recommendations of the American Red Cross, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Montgomery County Office of Public Health, and other local public health agencies as needed depending on the location of the course.
The CDC released COVID-19 guidance stating:
Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. It typically takes 2 weeks after vaccination for the body to build protection (immunity) against the virus that causes COVID-19. You are not fully vaccinated until 2 weeks after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or 2 weeks after a one-dose vaccine.
Omicron Variant: As of December 20, 2021, Omicron has been detected in most states and territories and is rapidly increasing the proportion of COVID-19 cases it is causing.

The Montgomery County Office of Public Health concurs with the CDC masking guidelines for vaccinated individuals. Masks should be worn in public indoor settings regardless of vaccination status in areas of high or substantial transmission. Fully vaccinated people might choose to wear a mask regardless of the level of transmission, particularly if they are immunocompromised or at increased risk for severe disease from COVID-19, or if they have someone in their household who is immunocompromised, at increased risk of severe disease or not fully vaccinated. Masks are still recommended for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals in crowded indoor areas.
For continued safety, MY Lifeguard Training Group asks that:
MY Lifeguard Training Group will not ask participants to show proof of their vaccination.
